The Great Debaters

It's really happy to see a touching film. The Great Debaters directed by Denzel Washington was the one for me. In 1930s, education was the only way out for the colored to face segregation and their weapons were words, not guns. I was totally into the film enough to be unaware of the passage of time.

Btw, you may wonder how I'd see the film in my office, not in a theater. To tell the truth, I got the movie file through internet in an inappropriate way. Not knowing when the film would be released in my country, moreover whether it'd be imported or not, I couldn't wait any more.

As we know, it seems to be impolite to see the good movie alone, isn't it? So, I translated the transcript of the film into our mother tongue for my wife and kids. Though committing the crime of violating intellectual property rights and being afraid to be caught(?), I had a great time seeing the great film with my family last Thursday.

I'd like to show my respect for the Denzel Washington's decision to donate a $1 million dollar to Wiley College for rebuilding its debate team.
