The Beauty of Curves

.

.

The temple Gaesimsa is located in Chungcheong-do about 2 hours from Seoul by car, the capital of South Korea. The word Gaesimsa, 개심사 in Korean and 開心寺 in chinese respectively means a temple which makes our hearts open. It is noted for its cherry blossoms in spring. Above all, the beauty of curves of the pillars completely captured me as I looked around the temple last year. At first, I wondered how these bodies of the temple have stood against strong winds and heavy rains for a long time. But after a while, it suddenly came to me that the curve meant an unyielding spirit beyond a flexible, natural beauty. Namely, Having soft hearts would be sure to help us go through hardships in our lives.
